The Bonus Days Foundation was created from the belief that every dog deserves more time, more comfort, and more love. especially when facing cancer.

Our inspiration is Gypsy, a tiny dog with an enormous spirit who reminds us that even in the hardest moments, there can still be sunshine.

When Gypsy was diagnosed with an aggressive mast cell tumor, one of her oncologists told us something that would change the way we looked at everything that followed. sHe explained that her cancer would never be cured. Instead, every treatment decision we made would be about giving us as many bonus days with her as possible.

That perspective shifted everything.

It meant celebrating the small victories: good bloodwork, a wagging tail, a sunny afternoon, or simply a quiet day together at home. It meant realizing that even in the middle of uncertainty, those extra days were a gift.

The Bonus Days Foundation exists to help other dogs and the people who love them experience more of those moments.

Cancer in dogs can be overwhelming, emotionally and financially. Our goal is to help families navigating a diagnosis by raising funds for treatment, sharing trusted resources, and building a compassionate community that understands the journey.

Because every dog deserves the chance for more tail wags, more cuddles, and more time with the people who love them most.

Sometimes the most meaningful moments are the ones we didn’t expect…the ones that feel like a gift.
